UK Law Compliant Dog ID Tags
In the UK, dogs are legally required to wear a dog identity tag or another clear form of identification, with some exemptions for working dogs.
Our tags are high quality, heavy duty, weighty, and deep engraved so that your details do not perish or wear. These are not the small cheap thin alternatives which pet stores and vets supply.
Even if your dog is microchipped, the law states that a pet ID tag must be worn in addition to a microchip.
According to the Control of Dogs Order 1992, any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the owner's details clearly displayed. These details must include the owner's name (initial and surname), address, and postcode, either engraved or written directly on the collar or engraved on a tag.
